Scott Gorski
Scott is a Seattle native, born and raised in West Seattle. His passion for flying was present even as a child. He told his parents at a young age that he wanted to be a fighter pilot. They quickly pointed out that with 20/400 vision, that dream was unlikely.
Scott managed the next best thing by joining the Navy in 1988 and flying EP3-E aircraft as an enlisted crewmember during the first Gulf War. He served with distinction and received an honorable discharge in 1993.
His flying was put on the back burner for 20 years as he got his college degree, went into the corporate world, and raised a family. With the kids all grown he decided it was time to get back into the world of flying.
Scott walked into Snohomish Flying Service in 2018 and went straight through from private pilot to CFII. He then got his tailwheel endorsement and drove across the country to train in acrobatics with the great Patty Wagstaff.
Scott now teaches all manner of flight training with an emphasis on tailwheel, Roll/Upset, and competition acrobatics. He regularly competes locally and is a proud member of IAC chapter 67.
